I support UCLH: Victoria Fryer

Victoria Fryer

At the age of 25, Victoria Fryer was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She had recently experienced a number of changes in her life, and so she found it very overwhelming. She was told that she had to undergo chemotherapy for 6 months.

However, she said that she felt “so lucky” that she was getting treated at a world renowned hospital and had wonderful doctors and nurses looking after her all the way. She says “receiving the treatment in a building like the UCH Cancer Centre made it just that little bit better during a time when there is not a whole lot to look forward to!”

Now at the age of 28, she is two and a half years into remission, and excited to be marrying her best friend. As the UCLH cancer services remain close to her heart, she will be wearing the UCH Cancer Fund pin badge on her wedding in May 2018.
