New year, new you?

From bake offs to baking, marathons to mountain hikes, our charity supporters go the extra mile – sometimes quite literally – to raise money to improve patient care. Find out more here!

If getting fit and doing something worthwhile are on your new year to do list, why not combine the two and raise money for UCLH Charity this year?

From bake offs to baking, marathons to mountain hikes, our charity supporters go the extra mile – sometimes quite literally – to raise money to improve patient care.  We fund equipment, environment improvements, service developments, pioneering research and supports staff so that they can provide the best possible care.

There are so many ways to get involved.  You can organise your own event, like a sponsored Dry January or a quiz night – but whatever you do, the fundraising team is behind you and can provide you with banners, balloons and t shirts to make your event go with a swing.

Alternatively, you can take part in a challenge event.  This year, there are still places available for our sponsored walk, pyrenees cycle challenge, Prudential Ride London and the Royal Parks half marathon.Whatever challenge you choose to take on, you will be helping to make a real difference to patient care and you will have the expertise of the fundraising team to guide you all the way.

Although we’re focusing our efforts on raising money for our current ‘big projects’ , i.e. the Royal National ENT and Dental Hospitals building due to open in 2019 and the new cancer and surgery building, opening in 2020, you can choose which area to support, be it a specific ward, department or clinical area.

Inspired?  Make 2019 the year you make a difference, get in touch with the fundraising team on x 79361 or via email uclh.enquiry.charity@nhs.net
