It’s time to brew a national thank you!

Home News It’s time to brew a national thank you!

The NHS Big Tea on the NHS’ birthday on 5th July is set to be a national outpouring of love, thanks, and generosity for the people who’ve gone above and beyond to care for us this year – our NHS champions

There are a number of things you can do to celebrate this special occasion:

  • Join with others across the county at 3pm on the 5th July and take time for a cuppa. Raise your cup, take a sup and say thank you. It’s as simple as that. All from the comfort of your home or workplace.
  • If you would like to use the occasion to raise some money for your local NHS Charity, host a very special tea party and donate to our current fundraising appeal, the Bring the Colour campaign to refurbish the children’s Emergency Department at University College Hospital. Find out more here: https://www.uclhcharity.org.uk/donate/colour. Stick the kettle on, bake a cake, open a packet of biscuits and invite friends and family to join (virtually or in person).
  • If you would like a fundraising pack or more information contact community fundraising manager Lou at Louise.davey@nhs.net. She will be able to offer you help and guidance, as well as some more fundraising ideas

Please make sure that your Big Tea activities adhere to government guidelines re Covid-19 and social distancing.
