On Tuesday 11th December UCLH Charity hosted its second ever Charity Christmas Concert at St Giles in the Fields, raising over £2,000 to support patients and staff across UCLH.
The concert was held at the beautiful St Giles In The Fields church, where guests were greeted with mulled wine and mince pies, donated by local supporters Sainsbury’s Regent’s Square and Le Pain Nouveau bakery.
At 7pm guests took their seats before being treated to performance from the Concordia Foundation, UCL Jazz Society, as well as getting involved themselves with some classic carols. There were readings as well, provided courtesy of Nick Gilbert, head of charitable giving at UCLH, as well as patients Jeanann Doyle and Alex Hornby.
To help boost the fundraising total for the event, a raffle was held, which featured some fantastic prizes donated from local businesses, including a £50 voucher from Experience Days and an bus tour of London featuring afternoon tea courtesy of Brigit’s Bakery.
UCLH Charity would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that supported the event including volunteers, musicians, raffle donors and the wonderful team at St Giles in the Fields, all of whom ensured our guests were left the event feeling festive.
