UCLH Charity partnership with Nursem

Home News UCLH Charity partnership with Nursem

We are really excited to have received Nursem hand care ‘Promise Packs’ for the nurses and midwives on the wards at UCLH after the Nursem team secured funding for their venture on the BBC programme, Dragons’ Den.

Nursem skincare, ‘a business with heart’ was loved by all of the Dragons when they recently appeared on the programme.  A business born on a hospital ward and created by somebody who knows all too well what it’s like to come home with sore and cracked hands due to constant hand washing in a clinical environment, Nursem strives to give back to nurses by giving a month’s worth of hand cream to a nurse for every product purchased.

To celebrate their success, Nursem has vowed to donate promise packs to a hospital in each of the areas that the Dragons live – luckily for us, Touker lives in London!

The fundraising team has been working with Nursem over the last few months and is delighted to have received such a kind donation to help combat the cracked and painful hands that staff are experiencing post-lockdown as a result of frequent hand washing and long shifts.

Thank you Nursem!
