Legacy gifts are a popular method of donating to UCLH. You can choose to leave us a share of your estate or alternatively set aside a fixed sum. A gift in your will to UCLH can be undesignated, in support of the hospital's area of greatest need, or directed to something specific. You may wish to strengthen the care and support that we currently provide for our patients or help us to fund new equipment or research.
Our charitable status means that UCLH Charity pays no tax on the gifts it receives, including bequests. If you leave a legacy, this may reduce the tax due on your estate. A financial advisor or solicitor may be able to assist you with this. In all cases we strongly recommend that wording is carefully reviewed by you and your legal adviser in the overall context of your will or codicil.
