Originally opened in May 1985, Queen Square Imaging Centre, operated by QS Enterprises, was the first direct referral MRI unit in the UK, providing a service for all clinical specialities. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of UCLH Charity and donates its profits back to the Charity for the benefit of services at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
